I disagree to your "discourage the vote" attitude - The Liberal Media Outlets {LiMO} would have ignored it a week ago.
This is about generating votes among the largest pool of potential voters - JSM voters who would not vote otherwise.

Would that you were right, but I don’t see this story being the lead anywhere in the media. They’re too busy publishing bogus polls as news. if it were a week ago even, then the RNC could have ratcheted out a good add, but not now.
