This pollster openly admits to assigning people to certain candidates even if they won’t say they’re going to vote for him!

Nobody voting for Obama refuses to answer. Obots will tell the fire hydrant how wonderful Obama is and how they can’t wait for him to win.

Why wouldn’t they just not count the people who refused to answer?

I think we have more of that then we realize. Also ignore college polls as polisci students do the polls and some have admitted not polling but making up numbers.

Pollsters are as ethical as drive-by media which means zero ethics.

This is a little disconcerting considering it is not tightening.

Combined with news from the Washington Post that McCain is slashing his GOTV efforts, we could be in serious trouble.

Then again, there are many positive signs as well.

Thank goodness we will finally know in three days.

Just because it is a liberal paper doesn’t mean everything isn’t true.

This is some good news......seems very strange for a lead this big, which would tend to throw this poll out:

“The Big 10. Obama also continues to lead battleground state LVs. Among respondents in CO, FL, MI, NH, NM, NV, OH, PA, VA and WI, he bests McCain by 15%. Last week, Obama led McCain 52-41% in these swing states.”

That isa big jump.....just weird.

LOL :) that is exactly correct. Also in the polls some who say that they are voting for Obama are not going to vote for him on elections day.

The “Big 10” poll is “Big BS”. There is NO WAY that this reflects any kind of reality. What’s the “party weighting” they use?

Maybe they use a predetermined Obama-McCain split to weight their interview responses. You certainly could force a poll to give these kinds of results if you are willing to allow your suppositions to take the place of facts.

Exactly. I know who my friends voting for Obama are. How? They NEVER miss an opportunity to bring it up.

I have every reason to believe McCain supporters would be more reserved in answering. McCain is not the cool pick, anyone supporting Sarah is considered a knuckle-dragging lunatic, and some people just don’t want to be accused of racism. That, or they don’t want to risk starting s-— with Obamunists. Most of the people who know me know my political preferences; still, they can bring up Obama all day long but when I bring up McCain once in a while, someone will try to pick an argument.

It does seem very odd, and the party weighting was heavy Dem.

NO other poll shows a 15 point lead for O in those states.

Seems almost absurd.

Is it true? I don’t know. It reads like another WAPO panic piece. But, I think you need to read everything you can to get an accurate picture of what is going on. Only reading a select number of positive stories or polls posted on FR is not doing that. The story could very well be BS like McCain abandoning CO etc. But, if we don’t read about it to discuss it, how do we find out? Sticking our heads in the sand doesn’t work.

In another note that could be very good news for us, I saw a post on a lefty site from an Obama organizer in NM saying people are not volunteering since they think the state is safe for O, but he is saying their internal polling is showing that not to be the case and lots of Hispanics wanting to vote for McCain because of Hillary. Very interesting.

It could be psyops to get more volunteers and things aren’t really bad for Obama’s GOTV there. But, it was interesting.

People are out in force. I donated the other day to help pay for buses this weekend for the ground game.

This is funny -- so THIS is the Obama push into AZ? I saw this tonight and the ad is so bad it is funny... I think the worst ads this year has been move-on ads:

Left-leaning groups are also on the air. MoveOn.org announced yesterday it has begun airing ads backing Obama in Arizona.

Because the more they count, the less they have to call. Less work for them.

I always hang up on calls from polls.

I think this was the one that called me Saturday.

I guess I’m not alone.
