Something is seriously off with the polling. Beyond the typical oversampling that most polls are doing, here is what puzzles me.
WHY IS OBAMA EVEN GETTING HIGH 40s SUPPORT?
1. The youth vote has been the same as 2004. NO bump there
2. I can’t imagine seniors voting for Senor Obama, especially after he floods the doctors with 45 million new health insured
3. The Jewish American vote for Obama HAS to be less than what Kerry got. No matter how radical a Democrat you are, you owe a religious duty to the land God gave to you. These are the same people that purchased Israel bonds. Some (a decent minority) of them will definitely not vote for an avowed anti Israeli
4. Hispanics in my opinion will not go for Obama (as they went for Kerry) as they have seen what Chavista politicians have done to their old countries. Do not underestimate the Hispanics. They may look like they are one issue voters (Immigration). But they are not stupid. They can recognize a dictator when they see one
5. Middle and Upper Middle Class Whites: With Obama OPENLY threatening to raise their taxes, they would have to be insane to vote for him
6. Evangelicals: This one really astounds me. How an evangelical can or would vote for a guy that is FOR Partial Birth Abortion is beyond me
7. Asian Americans. Mostly business people and mostly very economics savvy. Hard to imagine a majority of them voting for a Socialist
8. Married White Women. I can’t imagine a mom who has a 2 year old kid, trusting the future of this country to a man, who ADMIRES the Soviet Union and Cuba.
While I know McCain will win (my prediction is 52-48 PV), I am astounded that this has gotten so close. How Senor Obama came to get 48% of the vote (in my prediction) is beyond me. He should be losing by 20 points not 4.
Where did he get this reservoir of support to take him to the high 40s? What demographic is supporting him besides the ones I listed above?
The World has gone insane or maybe I have.
The dirty little secret is that Hispanics in general are disdainful of blacks. And the feeling is mutual.
Well, if you include the fraudulent ACORN vote, he gains at least 3% right there.
That you place any importance in any poll, or even believe they should be legal, is what is wrong.
Come on, get a life. LOTS OF DEAD PEOPLE AND SINGLE VOTE CHALLENGED SPECIAL INTERESTS ARE DOING THEIR CIVIC DUTY AND VOTING EARLY AND OFTEN!

What you say about the Hispanics is true for many. However, for the sake of argument, I decided to not even mention that point and strictly stick to the fact that Hispanics in many cases are fleeing failed countries and dictators

If everyone actually knew what you posted, your prediction would probably be right, but the reality is that most people have no idea what they are voting for.
Wonder why Obama chose the catchy little cult themes of “Hope”, “Change”, and “Yes We Can” to define his campaign?
He is attempting to perform a mass hypnosis on the American people and we’ll see if he’s successful.
I know a Republican evangelical white woman with 3 young kids and a husband making over $250K a year who is 100% behind Obama because she feels it sends a message of hope to blacks and the rest of the world. Go figure....

Hmm... It is not that I believe any poll for I expect Obama to only get 47.8% of the PV.
However, to my point, I DO expect him to get 47.8%. That is what ANNOYS the crap out of me.
I travel quite a bit inside this country. By a LARGE majority the people I meet (whether White, Hispanic, Black, Asian, Jewish, Muslim) are good people. Smart people. Patriotic people.
How anyone can vote for an Anti American politician is beyond me. I get political differences. You are a Democrat, I am a Republican. We can talk tax rates all day long. But the BOTTOM LINE is that you HAVE to love our Country. After all you are running to be the President of this country.

I think the undecideds have been undecideds for so long because they haven’t bought into DUH ONE’s BS. He hasn’t said anything new and convincing so they will swing for McCain. I know many democrats who don’t buy his BS either - they say they are voting for McCain or won’t vote.
Hispanics like dictators. That's why every one of their squalid failed countries ends up with a Chavez sooner or later.
And two, you omit the whore factor: Unmarried females who want nothing more than to sit around and f*ck whatever skeevy POS the cat drags in, and feed off the goobermint forever more. Their number is in the millions, and every one wants to fellate Obama.

I know some third generation welfare white people who will vote for Obama. They have already “spent” the check he will give them. In other words, Obama has bought their votes.
