I disagree on two points.

Hispanics will vote heavily for Obama.

Asians come from collectivist cultures, and while they do well in business and have good work ethics, they are polling heavily in favor for Obama.

And it’s not really Obama. Six years of war and the sudden downturn in the economy, I’m afraid people blame Bush and Obama has been successful in tying McCain to Bush.

I know McCain WILL win. For that there is NO DOUBT. McCain will get atleast 52% PV in my opinion.

My question to other Freepers is why this was so close.

Ronald Reagan beat Mondale nearly 60-40 and Mondale was no where near as far left as Obama.

To the other Freepers who have posted: Thank you for the zingers but I would appreciate a thoughtful analysis as to why Senor Obama got into the high 40s.

It is elementary Dr Watson! African Americans are voting 99% for half black Obama. But it has nothing to do with racism (sarc). They are coming out of the woodwork to vote for Obama. They know Obama will take from the successful and hand them welfare checks.
