My friends, it's John McCain, live from New York, just three days before the election. Aides to the Republican presidential candidate said Friday that McCain will make a detour from battleground states to appear on "Saturday Night Live," the late-night show that has been a must-watch for many during the political season.
Hosting the show this Saturday is actor Ben Affleck, a supporter of Democratic candidate Barack Obama. The musical guest is singer David Cook.

"olbermann is honestly the most disturbed person i have ever seen on television.. even left-wingers on msnbc have to be embarrassed.."Yes, Olbermann is a clinical psychopath, isn't he?
No, left-wing moonbats on MSNBC are NOT embarrassed by Herr Olbermann; In fact he's their hero.

We are going to win. But expect Obama to pull a Gore and wait until December to concede.

why on earth would Rob Schnieder still be a movie star? The Lord works in mysterious ways. Along with Schnieder, how else to explain Steve Guttenberg?

I concur with your prediction; McCain will be ridiculed indirectly (the usual Palin shtick) and walking into an ambush.
There is NO way SNL wants to make mcCain look good.

Will Ferell yearsFerrell was worth it just for Celebrity Jeopardy. Darrell Hammond as Connery makes me LOL just thinking about it.

Oh no...Aykroyd, Belushi, Curtain, Radner, Murray and Morris were without a doubt the best all time.

Touché. But Guttenberg is undeniably handsome, in his own way. You also have to figure in lucky film choices. “Cocoon” and “Police Academy” probably would have been hits no matter who was in them (with the exception of Michael Winslow, who was indispensable).

Agree 100%. Eddie Murphy gets honorable mention.

“Three Men and a Baby” made him the chick magnet, too. You’re right. He was one lucky guy.

I have a hunch that our margin of victory will be so large that he won't have a prayer of pulling a Gore.Just playing Karnak the Magnificent here.... ;)

"Aykroyd, Belushi, Curtain, Radner, Murray and Morris were without a doubt the best all time."Better than Chris Farley, Spade, Chris Rock, Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Rob Schneider, and Phil Hartman?
The first few years of SNL had a limited cast and IMO was overrated. Radner, Aykroyd, and Belushi were excellent players, but the rest of the cast and writing was so-so.

Undoubtedly, Murray, Aykroyd, Belushi, Radner, and Chase were stars (for a while). I’d put Carvey, Hartman, Farley, Lovitz, and Meyers (but not Sandler, and certainly not Franken) against them (excepting Murray, as I previously indicated) any day.
If there is no other objective measure (aside from ratings, which I don’t want to bother to look up), I’d say the number of films studio heads greenlit on the shoulders of 87-94 castmembers speaks for itself. Meyers and Sandler are one thing. Chris Rock has built up a whole new following with his stand-up. Schnieder is something else altogether. But David Spade? Norm McDonald?

“Agree 100%. Eddie Murphy gets honorable mention.”
Maybe the real competition should be between Murphy and Murray as to which is the greatest SNL all-star. That’s certainly a simpler argument. For my money, Murray wins for consistency.

Olbermann is the male Rosie O’Donnell.
