A suburban Detroit woman has decided to scare up the vote among neighborhood children by just offering treats to John McCain supporters.
Shirley Nagel of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., handed out candy Friday only to those who shared her support for the Republican presidential candidate and his running mate Sarah Palin. Others were turned away empty-handed.
TV station WJBK, Fox 2 News says a sign outside Nagel’s house warned: “No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters.”
Nagel calls Democrat Barack Obama “scary.” When asked about children who were turned away empty-handed and crying, she said: “Oh well. Everybody has a choice.”
There were kids as young as 4 years old that went away crying because she wouldn’t give them any candy.

I sat on my neighbor’s doorstep and asked the kids to share their wealth of candy with me since I didn’t have any candy or kids!

I was hoping to have a kid show up in an Obama costume. I was going to tell them I would practice some redistribution and give the candy I was going to give to them to some kid who wasn’t bothering to come door to door and was home watching TV.
It’s never too early to teach them what socialism really is. They’ll never learn it in school.
Didn’t get the chance - just got the usualy array of cute neighborhood kids.
The kids being turned away just experienced Obama’s spreading the wealth. Doubt that their parents understood that.

I don’t know how true this is but if it is she just proved her meanness not the merits of McCain vs Obama. Probably a cheap ass harpy who was looking for an excuse to shaft the kids. I mean what the heck did they ever do to her?
