This Speechwriter is doing one of the most courageous things in the universe: Choosing conscious over self interest. The world punishes such virtue. I honor it.
Hate is destroying this country. Since Bush’s 2000 victory the left has descended into madness. They want power so bad they will do anything to gain it, even hurl the country into the nightmares that it now faces.
Sane people need to stand up and say: No More. Politicians, we don’t care about your petty personal ambitions. We don’t care about your cherished crackpot theories.

Wendy Button sounds like an good person. This fanatical response by fundamentalist lefties is typical. Liberal democrats that catch a glimpse of the totalitarian left will vote for McCain. I don’t recall the Democrats nominating a candidate so far to the left. Not that the general public would know this, because the media covers the Obama campaign as if it were a brand of miracle snake oil.

I wrote a comment to Ms. Button telling her I supported her decision to follow her own political convictions. I also told her to hang in there and I said I hoped she finds writing for politicians who are more in sync with her political views in the future to be more fulfilling.
The hatred, Hanna, comes from the left. In this election, all of the Republicans were thoroughly vetted -— by the leftist press. Obama got a free pass. If anyone on this forum every buys another copy of the Los Angeles Times, Washinton Post, or any of the other leftist rags, they are fools.
I think there's the possibility of some heavy jail time for the type of threats made ~ they look real.
