Love it Great Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Love the line “we are going to drain the swamp” when referring to DC.
I just caught the last few minutes of it.
Since I watch very little TV, I had never seen him at a rally.
I was really surprised and blown away by 3 things:
1. He really knows how to give a rousing speech!!! He had the crowd on fire!!!
As he presented an idea/belief/statement, he would build on it; and the crowd was going nuts and louder and louder!!!
He had them in the palm of his hands!!!
2. Equally, he was sincerely enjoying himself. There was nothing phony about his huge smile and laughter. He was really enjoying himself!!! It was as if he had been reborn into a new world he had never known because he has been so hated…and for good reasons. I have never seen anyone enjoy himself so much with all that rousing attention!!!
3. Also, as far as I could tell, he was not reading off promoters. He was too spontaneous. As the crowd responded to him, he responded to the crowd. It was wild!!!
I will not say anything nasty about him again…for at least a little while anyway.
