I bought the Ruger P95 about 2 weeks ago and love it. FOr the price, I don’t think it can be beat.

Am looking to get a Kimber .45 in the near future (and possibly an AR-15 if Obama is actually elected)

I have a P95 as well. Nice for the price. I’m looking for a more compact handgun for concealed carry.

I agree, Red. I got mine used for $350 and have been to the range several times. Lots of fun.

Kimber firearms are really nice. I'd get one if I could afford it. As for an AR-15, I'd like to get one so I can be the first person on my block with two "assault weapons" (laughing in a sinister manner). Again, the cost is prohibitive - especially an Armalite version. I saw a firearm at a gun show that looked very much like a AR-15 with a collapsible stock and it was about $600. IIRC, it was labeled with a CZ or something like that, but I didn't see anything on CZ's website that resembled it. The nice thing about this rifle was that it wasn't regulated. (here in the People's Republic of Maryland I had to wait ten days before I got my WASR-10 and my P-95) I could have walked out with it that day.

Oh well - better wait until I have some more cash, but if Lord Barack The Most Merciful becomes Grand Poobah I will only have until January 20.
