California: Obama 49% Clinton 36% (O+13)
Zogby ^

Posted on 10/31/2008 6:18:45 AM PDT by wiseprince

I posted this earlier but the server wasn't working so well so I think a lot of people missed it. Zogby, the worst pollster this year, was off by 23% in calling California. Hillary actually won by 10%

By the way, there is more where this comes from. Rasmussen had Obama +1 as well. Just a reminder that the pollsters have been carrying water for Obama all year. Pray and Work for it!

The media is so infatuated with Obama, it’s disgusting! They called CA for Obama, and then Hillary won it!

So, why should we believe their rigged and manipulated polls now (or ever)????

Zogby is the worst Pollster

He polls to get his results.

Rasmuseen is about the same

The Media is in the tank for Obama

Not much of a stretch to think Pollsters are.

The voters of the more liberal states don't want to admit to a pollster they won't be pulling the lever for the Messiah.

It seems like every election we forget how miserably off the polls were in previous elections.

Hey Califas! Is it any wonder your state is sinking in the cesspool of debt, welfare and socialist feel-goodism? Get a brain folks!

Thank G-d I’m in the middle of Texas in a tiny town where people are SANE.

He missed it by 23%.

That’s a staggering level of incompetence...truly breathtaking.

Obama polls way better than he performs at the ballot box. If I had to guess, I think it’s because voters tend to be for him in theory, as in the dynamic charismatic black candidate, but then they look at what he stands for and realize he’s a true hard left ideologue.

Also, I think political correctness hurts Obama bigtime. I think a significant number of poll participants are simply giving the politically correct answer.

Last, Obama does well among blocks of voters with historically low turnout #s. Namely, young kids.

I see that 4 years ago today Zogby had Kerry winning FL.

Still, if this is close to accurate and zer0 is up *only* 13 in CA then he is doing well but not great.

Based on nothing more than my trip to the Registrar of Voters yesterday, I’d say it’s 090-M10.

Then again, I live in Oakland.

So, yeah....

Basically it happened in all the primaries where Obama couldn't game the system. Every state that had a caucus was gamed by Obama's Acorn infiltrators. That's one of the reasons the PUMA's are fighting mad.

The counterargument is that Obama did do better than expected in some primary (non-caucus) states.

But, the counter-counterargument is that Obama did better than expected in the Southern states, where a plurality of Democrats are black.

Oops, sorry. I didn’t even look closely enough. I see that poll was from the primary! So Zogby is even more unreliable than we thought.

You can blame Los Angeles and San Franfreeco for that. I would like to see what would happen if you took these two cities out of the mix.

Obama’s underperformance in the polls may be even more pronounced on Tuesday than in the primaries, because the politically correct pro-Obama media has had even more time to drill their propaganda into people’s heads.

I truly think that ALOT of people resent the way the media has behaved this year. I know people that aren’t political at all that have noticed the media bias this year and are voting Mccain mainly because of it.

There have got to be alot of people lying to pollsters and saying they will vote Obama. If, for no other reason, they just don’t want any trouble. They’ve seen what happened to Joe the plumber.

This should be a reminder that regardless of what state you are in: Get out and Vote!

I’ve always felt that California should be in play because of Obama’s position on driver’s licenses (Obama’s position is illegal immigrants should have driver’s licenses). The gay marriage proposal pushed Bush over the top in Ohio in 2004. Could California’s gay marriage proposal put McCain over the top?
