A woman who told police she works for a community-based organization has been arrested on prostitution and drug related charges.
It's a story 9 News broke.
41-year-old Shari Bell of Walnut Hills was arrested Wednesday night by Cincinnati Police.
Bell allegedly approached an undercover officer's car in Evanston and offered him sex for money. Police also say they found a crack pipe in Bell's coat pocket.
Bell told police she works for ACORN at the time of her arrest.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, otherwise known as ACORN, is a group that works for progress in poor communities on issues like housing, education and voter registration.
ACORN's registration efforts have been recently investigated in various cities and states, in some cases as a result of ACORN-flagged registration forms. Some ACORN workers have been convicted of voter registration fraud.
It is not clear what Bell allegedly does for the group. She appears to have several past arrests in Hamilton County.

Has anybody else thought that ACORN seems to be like a political party for criminals? A proto communist party? Kind of scary.

Trading some trim for registrations in the 'hood now, eh...??
Not surprising. In 2000 they were handing out free cigarettes, but the cost of smokes have become so high it makes sense that they would choose a new tactic.
Just remember: Republicans spread freedom and democracy, Democrats spread sexually transmitted diseases....

Stereotypical Democrat. Frankly, I’m surprised she’s real, alive, conscious, and a citizen. That makes her a *real* minority among Democrat activists and voters.
