That's a Friday New York Times headline. The piece goes on and on about what a drag Palin is to the McCain ticket.
But check out question #10 in the poll the piece is discussing here:
IF NOT ENTHUSIASTIC IN Q9: What is your biggest concern, if any, about (Barack Obama/John McCain) as a candidate for President?
The answer? A whopping two percent said “don’t like Vice President.”
It's not until the end of the piece that you learn: “Over all, views of Ms. Palin were apparently shaped more by ideology and party…8 in 10 Democrats viewed her as unprepared, as well as more than 6 in 10 independents and 3 in 10 Republicans.”
