How about building a big 10’ replica of the Times building, fly an R/C plane into it and rig it with fireworks to go off on impact.

You know Bob, you may be onto something here. We could also buy a small yellow plastic truck and place an M-80 in it, then remote control it into a cardboard building, and set it off. We could put OKC on the top of the building, just to make it realistic. I know we could parley this into some great publicity for our cause.

LOL, you devil. Ged ouda here...

As you know we did this stuff for years. It was great for building morale and for people to feel they were getting something done, making a response to the left, but there was a tremdous let down later when you found no media coverage or that preaching to the choir, while personally gratifying, doesn’t dent the left much.

People that take the time to show up to your event want to see something concrete out of it or they get disilusioned. Sure, it’s “fun” for a day but the novelty wears off quickly and people burn out on “activism” quckly.

If you want to get covered in the local and MSM, you have to do something spectacular and for God’s sake you have to let the media know in advance so they can show up.

It may seem like I’m being critical but I’m not. Many of us have been down this road and would like to save others the frustration we experienced.

Unfortunately, since the demise of the Free Republic Network there is no where for these new activists to go to get advice or assistance on their FReeps.

Because of that, being on FR is like “Groundhog Day”.
