ERIE, Penn. (Reuters) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Thursday said Democratic nominee Barack Obama would be incapable of meeting national security challenges.
Palin, whose selection as Republican John McCain's running mate prompted criticism of her scant national security experience, spoke after meeting a group of retired military commanders and the former leaders of the CIA and the Homeland Security Department.
"Barack Obama didn't have much to say in that long infomercial of his last night about the stakes in the wars America is fighting, or about the need to support the troops in the field, or why he supported cutting off funding to our troops in the war," Palin said.
Palin said Obama's 30-minute television ad on Wednesday sought to wrap his "closing message" before next Tuesday's election in warm and fuzzy commercial trappings.
"He wants to soften the focus in these closing days, hoping your mind won't wander to the real challenges of national security that he is incapable of meeting," said Palin.
Five days before the election, Obama leads in most national polls and has campaigned hard on economic themes as the country faces its worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.

Article: Obama's Foul Weather Friends
By Scott Swett and Roger Canfield
"As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who [Bernardine] Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he 'left the room to cry.' He said, 'I realized...America was an evil... and that I was... living inside the belly of the beast...' "

I’m pretty sure that if a Senator or Rep. was on a National Security committee, i.e. Armed Services or Homeland Security, then that person would have to be checked thoroughly. This morning I heard a man who does security checks for the CIA and FBI say that Obama certainly could not get a security clearance, based on his past aquaintances.
I have to be honest, once I saw that pic of him riding his bike wearing jeans and a tucked in polo shirt I knew he wa a loser. No real guy does anything like that. Look at all the pictures of Bush riding his bike. And in every pic of him playing basketball he’s wearing pants. again, no one wears pants to shoot hoops.
Elected officials do NOT have to get a security clearance.
Note also that Obama rides on a flat tire.

“The only difference between Bill Ayers and Timothy McVeigh is
McVeigh’s bomb went off.”
(my rough recall of a “to the point” reader’s letter in The Wall
Street Journal last week)
so if that’s the case, did Pipes explain what would happen if a marxist Piece of Shiite Muslim was elected as POTUS and it was found out he couldn’t pass the basic security clearance test?
It was the most bizarre segment...the Friends teased—guess which candidate could not even pass a security clearance and work for the FBI or CIA??? No, Pipes just explained that with Barry’s associations he would not pass. Silly us for worrying that he might become POTUS.
When you compare her natural charm with pictures of those sour faced, saggy titted, crepey throated old commie lesbian feminists, the contrast is startling.
