tech question....why does youtube just stop sometimes in the middle of a video or song....this has been happening lately and this particular video stopped several times...anybody?

don’t know, but I have the free version of Real Player and it allows you to download entire videos first, then run them off the hard drive, so there’s never any issue of the internet connection or speed while watching..... I highly recommend RP for this purpose.....

Copy the link and run Mozilla Firefox. Paste the link in the Address and go to the You Tube video. It will run fine. Internet Explorer must slow the transfer rate.

Your bandwidth.

You’ve run your buffer out, and more of the movie needs to load before you continue to watch it. This can happen several times during the video, depending on your connection speed.

Your browser tries to download the whole video while it’s playing into a buffer. Sometimes, due to bandwidth or a slow connection, the playing video reaches the end of the buffer before more can be downloaded, and it has to stop and wait for things to catch up before resuming.
