Why is he waiting to be President? Then he CAN'T eliminate programs, because the President doesn't have a line item veto, and while he can SUBMIT a budget, only Congress can pass the spending legislation.

It was depressing to watch. The lies are sloshing like mud up to his neck, but the sheeple don’t see it, and McCain, the GOP and independent groups have not taken the gloves off to expose him until now, late in the game. The prospect of this vile charlatan becoming president is just too horrifying to contemplate.
AP has upped it prices to clients, decreased the amount of its feeds that can be used without charge and otherwise restricted use of its product.
The clients are rebeling ie. news organizations in regional proximity are uniting to share assets.

I was kind of hoping to watch a bit more than the opening tonight but we were eating dinner and hubby exploded. “Turn off that s**t!! You want me to puke?” So we put on an old movie and had a nice non-Obambi dinner. [I was feeling queasy myself...]
I wanted to see it for his use of NLP [conversational hypnosis] techniques. The music and the waving wheat fields looked like the mood-setter but the camera kept in fairly tight on the first part of his speech and if he was doing a lot of hand motions at the beginning, I didn’t see all of them and none of the blatant ones. But watching only a few minutes wouldn’t have any affect on a non-obamabot anyhow. But I did want to see if he could try to at least lead me to the koolaide. I so wanted to see the master at work, since I heard all about the neuro-linguistic programming technique that he employs so effectively.
But of course, what I did see looked like the usual cheap-shot bloviating spew that passes for one of his campaign speeches. No build-up except the hypnotic music at the beginning. The bits I saw later on FOX looked like just snippets of other speeches. Like a Greatest Hits album. The audience in the infomercial was enraptured but at home we couldn’t go ga-ga because Obambi’s pacing and leading was poor, his rhythm was off. Egads — is Obummer the Great losing his mind controlling techniques? Could there be a light at the end of the tunnel on Tuesday? Will we be delivered from this cold narcassistic charlatan?
That’s the CHANGE I’m going to continue to HOPE for. Oh, and PRAY for, too. But not to this phony “messiah.” No, I’m sticking with the other Messiah, the REAL one.

Actually, barack stated early on several places where he will cut spending - all bad for America:
