CHAPEL HILL — After Shawn Turschak saw two sets of McCain-Palin campaign signs disappear from his yard within hours of being planted, he took some unconventional steps to protect the latest pair.

Where is the video? THis is something my husband was about to do... our friend put a survielance camera up after their first sign was stolen!

A young boy walks up to the McCain-Palin signs, carrying what appears to be an Obama sign. He touches one of the McCain-Palin signs, it gives him what looks like from his reaction a gentle shock, and he immediately turns around and walks quickly away. It’s cute.

Guy hooked a McCain sign up to a mild current and a kid tried to pull it up and got shocked. Probably nothing more than a pinch or something similar to what you’d get in science class.
Great parents.. sending a nine year old kid to do their dirty work.

The video shows a little nine year old boy carrying a plastic Obama sign with the intention of putting it on a pole where the McCain sign had been stolen. When he touches the pole he receives a shock...it’s from a pet fence so it’s not that bad. Anyway, it’s funny seeing that little kid run off.
