I’m not Catholic — but I deeply respect this man! He’ll pay for that if “Great Leader” Obama ascends to the throne.

I keep thinking - it’s going to come down to Christians and Jews and others who are close to God.

It’s amazing to me how church leaders are risking their IRS exemption talking this up. They are very afraid of this man getting into power.

in the End Times Evil will have seemed to Triumph, as the Catechism states. Sometimes I think that’s where we are because the Evil before us seems relentless and without conscience. I feel estranged from many of my Co-Religionist who find in their vote something more important than Life and the protection of the most vulnerable. Surely all of Heaven weeps over this callousness.

He had many battles to choose from. He was correct to choose Lepanto, as Papal forces were engaged. But he also might have chosen the Siege of Vienna and the Battle of Vienna, or the Battle of Tours.
In any case, the church must be applauded for its strength of character approaching this election.

The list of U. S. bishops who have spoken out on the priority of the life issues in this election is now over 100. The list now contains 70 individual bishops and three joint statements.
I would like to continue updating this list until the day of the election. I have tried to incorporate all the comments thus far. If I dd not get them all, I apologize. (For a few of the suggestions, I could not find a suitable link.)
Please continue using the comments section to let us know what bishop is not on this list who should be. This would include any bishop who has individually, or jointly, published a statement about this election pointing out the primacy of the life issues.
Thank you for your help.

Week of Prayer for Our Country By Bishop Robert W. Finn "Our Catholic moral principles teach that a candidate's promise of economic prosperity is insufficient to justify their constant support of abortion laws, including partial-birth abortion, and infanticide for born-alive infants. Promotion of the Freedom of Choice Act is a pledge to eliminate every single limit on abortions achieved over the last thirty-five years. The real freedom that is ours in Jesus Christ compels us, not to take life, but to defend it."

24. Archbishop George Niederauer of San Francisco
I live in Niederauer's archdiocese, and it's a stretch to say that he's made life issues a priority. I mean, sure, he may have released a pro-life statement or two, but is it his priority? Not even close. Pro-abortion "Catholic" politicians like Nancy Pelosi are coddled around here.

They know this man has no moral core. None. He was a child raised by wolves. He learned well to camouflage himself in an image.
Perhaps they also see elements of Biblical prophecy in the rise of this man. I know that’s not “PC” to talk about.
God Help us all and them if he is elected. The Church will pay for its “insolence” and “insubordination”
