Taken into custody for what? Being intoxicated in public? If that’s the law then the jail in Portland should be full of the downtown street people. They are always blitzed.
John has had a problem for years. I had hoped he had moved on. Evidently he hasn’t. The staff at Hooters were trying to get him to leave. The officers were called out. They had to realize he was unfit to drive. He may have been unfit to walk for all we know.
Grow-ups avoid this type of situation or have friends with them to help out. I hate to see a guy do this to himself.
