Correct. And since the person fired was a contractor, they had no civil service or union protection. They're gone in five minutes.
Yeah, they fired an outside contractor, someone who 'is not one of them'.
It's a good start though, Joe ought to give it a little time, and if they don't do anything more, move in with civil suits.
I've always be disgusted that the LaCross team didn't go in and ruin a bunch of their accusors. It would have improved our culture, and I think they let us down.
I am a black, hyphenated female, conservative, pro-life, with a McCain/Palin sign (which has been kicked down twice) proudly perched in my front yard... now what? I hate when people paint everyone with the same broad brush.
LOL! Excellent!
Sounds good to me.
Oh, I know some very good lawyers. :-)
So a guy wins a million bucks in the lottery and they run a check to see if he owes Child Support. Then a guy asks obama a question and gets “thrust into the lime light” and gets the same treatment. I wonder if a guy in a bad car wreck and is on the front page gets the same treament. Give me a break.
EVERYTHING that Jones-Kelley stated what justified several searches on Mr. Wurzelbacher are COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!!!!!
Mr. Wurzelbacher was a lottery winner.
Mr. Wurzelbacher was not actively applying for any loan.
Mr. Wurzelbacher was not identified as a person of interest in any known act of crime.
Mr. Wurzelbacher was not identified as a perpitrator of any known act of crime.
Mr. Wurzelbacher was not acting suspiciously in any manner whatsoever to justify is unconstitutional invasion of his privacy.
All that Mr. Wurzelbacher did was to ask Hussein a legitimate and unprovoking question after Hussein singled Joe out for a question.
Just because that someone is thrown into the public spotlight does not warrant searches on gov’t databases. There was nothing that Mr. Wurzelbacher did to warrant that. He was a citizen that asked a simple question.
Jones-Kelly needs to be fired NOW as well as any of her minions who violated Mr. Wurzelbacher’s civil rights.
"CAUSE YOU'VE HIT THE JACKPOT!
Breaking the law to ruin your reputation, heck even the 'reporter' and his employer may be paying.
Every rule has exceptions. I apologize as well for my broad brush.
It annoys me that a public servant has the liquidity to donate the max.
Double bump.
I agree. But do you have 3 McCain/Palin signs in your yard like I have in mine? :-)
Rule #1 in life: Never, ever, under any circumstances trust a women with a hyphenated name (or 3 names).
I went through this kind of thing when I had a dispute with the vice president of the union that I was in some 24 years ago. He started prying into my life in ways totally unconnected to my job (but not to this extent). I let him know, in front of many witnesses, that I would not stand for it and he backed off. He was merely trying to intimidate me, and I'm pretty bullheaded.
This is the same mindset - the democrats are the new mafia, and right now, Obama is a Don Corleone wannabe. These folks have much in common with organized crime, mixed with a sprinkling of fascism and baked in a socialist oven.
If the state workers are found guilty of official misconduct, he may not only be able to sue the state for invasion of privacy but the individuals as well. He could bankrupt them as the state will not be on the hook to pay their attorney fees and award.
Isn't that an oxymoron?
Just kidding, in situations like this they can be the best solution.
The Dems and their surrogates made the issue all about Joe. This should the daylights out of people. A harbinger of what is to come. Speak out at your own risk.
You got me beat there.
