LA Times:
Won’t Release Video of Obama-Khalidi
“Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine.”
Remember when the LA Times circulated a memo telling its reporters not to write about John Edwards being caught with his mistress–in LA? [John Edwards-Rielle Hunter Love Child: LA Times Censors Reporters on Story]. The Times refused to inform its readers of the news until Edwards gave the struggling paper his okay by confessing on ABC’s Nightline.
The LA Times is continuing this recent tradition of deciding which news which doesn’t fit its editorial room political views it will allow its readers to see.
However, highly-reliable blogger, Doug Ross has a RED ALERT: Two Quotes from the Obama-Khalidi Video the LA Times won’t release. DBKP worked with Ross on the John Edwards scandal story and he’s proved careful and reliable in the past–both in his use of sources and in his reporting.
From Ross’ usually-reliable LA source:
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can’t release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying “Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine” plus there’s been “genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis.”
It would be really controversial if it got out. That’s why they will not even let a transcript get out.
To which Ross replies: “Yep, I guess that would do it”
The McCain campaign and conservative websites have called upon the Times to release the video.
The Times has given four different reasons–thus far–for keeping the video hidden from its readers.
Why is the video important? Why might the LA Times be refusing to release it? Why is it politically-inconvenient for the Obama campaign?

They will release it-on Nov 5th!
I sense a setup is coming.
Reliable sources also allegedly heard the “whitey tape.” Until the quote is shown or transcribed, I’m afraid it’s just hearsay.
Clinton did this BS. Remember? Getting the right all hyped up about some big heavyweight “smoking gun” revelation, then, when they finally allowed themselves to be “forced” to reveal it, it was a big fat nothingburger. Then the MSM had a field day, saying the critics were conspiracy nuts, were grasping at straws, were deranged hate-mongers, etc. I wish I could remember the specifics of the incident, but I know it happened.
I think we should be very very careful with this.
has anybody found the article the LA Times claims they wrote about this event ? I can’t seem to find it.
Go here:

You’ll find thid sentence near the endof the article:
“The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.”

thanks..that story is a loaded gun...the video must be pure dynamite.
thanks again
I believe the Clinton incident you reference was during his deposition in the Paula Jones SH lawsuit. It was “reported”
Clinton blew-up/lost his temper etc. over the questioning.
Everyone was waiting with baited breath for the voice recording/video of the deposition, as it was explosive !
Turns out, nothing,nada,zip.
Everyone was waiting with baited breath for the voice recording/video of the deposition, as it was explosive !
That's probably it! Thanks for filling in the blank!
I remember the baited breath with which people on talk radio waited for it to come out. Many here did too.
I'm not sure it was all a plot that was cooked up ahead of time by the Clintons. It may have been a simple case of serendipity. But I do remember that it was embarrassing to our side, and the other side jumped on it.
