Please call and demand the release of the tape:
Editor: Russ Stanton
213/237-6728; russ.stanton@latimes.com
the stronger the push, the more likely something will come out of it
number not in service.
I got his voicemail.
Left him a voice message. RELEASE THE TAPE, RUSS!
"Russ Stanton covers retail businesses and restaurants for The Times. He can be reached at (714) 966-5609 and at russ.stanton@latimes.com"

Russ, this is your integrity calling.
Release the tape.
Email has been sent. It was eloquent, but to the point.
I don’t think he’ll like it too much. :)
What are you hiding, Russ?
Wasn’t there some CaliFreepers who were going to protest in front of the LAT building today or was I dreaming that?

Sent my email. When I sent the first email to their office of “journalistic intergrity” or whatever they call themselves, I got an auto-reply stating that they do read all their emails. Hah!
Sent an email. Calling shortly.
Here’s a better number than the Culver city phone number above:
Los Angeles Times
Los Angeles, CA 90001
(800) 528-9998
you can also use, readers.rep@latimes.com or call 1 800 554-4000, good hunting
Phone calls are fun,,, (and im sure we have shut down a few phone lines) but how do we make the LA Times hurt financially? Who are their advertisers? Local repub advertisers who can call em. Repub businesses who let them have their machines in their businesses,, etc???
Sharp business-type freepers,,lets get this rolling?
You can better call the “ CIA “
One interesting point from the auto response I got from the LA Times:
“While we don’t have time to respond personally to each
e-mail, many reader comments are posted on the the Readers’
Representative Journal (http://www.latimes.com/readersrep), a forum for discussions about newsroom practices and standards.”
We might want to visit their forum.
You can try this one:
Los Angeles Times Communications LLC
202 W 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
(213) 237-5000
(213) 237-7679 (fax)
How about their number to their classfied Ad dept? If we shut it down,,, they can’t sell this weeks ads and make money? Anyone got that?,,
Keep the pressure up. They’ll panic.
This number looks interesting:
