To: Paine in the Neck
I hope the error in the spelling of "kowtow" rather than "cow-tow" was the reporter and editor, not the speech writer for Sarah Palin. The term is from India, and has nothing whatsoever to do with cows.

Of course, today's reporters and editors are semi-literate, at best.

I just cut’n’pasted. It’s not my spelling. I’m sure they get their copy editors from the same place the cable news guys get their chyron writers.
