My quick note to the readers’ rep:

Failure to release the Obama/Khalidi video is journalistic malpractice. It makes no sense that someone gave a newspaper a video so that they wouldn’t report on it. I believe you are covering for your candidate and removing all doubts about your bias. Journalism is dead at the LAT.

Perhaps no one had to give them the tape because one of them was there. Perhaps they are also a Khalidi supporter and don’t want to offend their Jewish subscribers. Perhaps they got the tape illegally. There must be other logical reasons for this.

It would seem to me that could be used for "psyops". Bloggers could start speculating on "what they've heard" is on the tape. Make it so outrageous and the LAT might be compelled to release it just to disprove what's being said.

Christians are very supportive of Israel. Catholics are swing voters. Whatever the effect this statement would have on Jewish voters, it’s not just Jewish voters that potentially would be moved by this statement.
