I find your finding to be crap. If you are eligible to vote, then vote. If they get more votes they win. If you can’t win, you can’t.
Democracy is about giving everyone a chance to vote once.
ding, ding, ding ... we have a winner.
Twittfan08 ... would you be more comfortable with a poll tax maybe, that'll cut down the vote from folks you probably don't approve of.
Or how about only white male land owners can vote ... does that work for you?
Like libbylu said ... people who are elibible to and want to vote should not be prevented from doing so .. our energy should be spent on insuring that they are, in fact eligible and that they only do it once.
Fortunately we are not a Democracy. In a Republic there are rules and limitations that are agreed upon in advance, and then not changed, until and unless the parties involved agree to change them.
IOW, we have the rule of law, not the rule of men.
I'm sure the early voting dates, times and places were well publicized.
And now, I'm off to early vote. The early voting location closes at 8 PM, and I'm not going to stand outside the door whining because I got there at 8:01.
Democracy is about giving everyone a chance to vote once.
Problem is, in a lot of states, ACORN has people voting who are not legal to vote, people voting in more than one state & also people voting multiple times in the same state.
Tell me how this is our "democracy" at work?
First -— I need to remind you we’re a REPUBLIC, NOT a Democracy...(yet)
Second -— When the Democrats are the side of the equation with the most established record for VOTE FRAUD —— the longer you give the crooks to go from poll to poll casting multiple votes or hauling the homeless, transients or bums from gutter to polls is a benefit to THEM, giving MORE time to conduct their voter fraud.....
