These maggots need to be disbanded. Let the teachers walk. F’em.

If governor, I would eradicate the union, top to bottom.

Here's the link to the 2005-6 cycle. There are three other cycles ('99-'00, '01-'02, '03-'04) available to peruse.

Thirty percent of the membership of the California Federation of Teachers work in community colleges, compared with only about 2 percent for the California Teachers Association. The California Federation of Teachers helped to develop the proposition.

The California Teachers Association said it believes Prop. 92 might end up siphoning money away from the public schools and state universities.

There's your answer: greed.

I got a question - how much do the cheeses at the top of CTA get paid? I can’t help but wonder because I have a sister working in a lousy school in a bad part of LA. She makes less than 50,000 a year and spends at least 10% of that on supplies for the kids, sometimes even feeding them. But there she is, she’s paying dues and I heard the executive director of CTA makes $250,000 a year and the pinheads on the next 2 rungs make at least $100,000. I don’t know where my contact got this info and I would sure like to be able to verify so I can spread the word. Anyone know how to find this out?
