For the Mods re: Digg campaign:
Via Freepmail: "Go for it! Thanks, Jim"
This page will be kept at the top of "Breaking News"
What we want to do is either post new Digg articles/videos, or identify already existing Digg articles/videos, that tell the REAL STORY of Barack "the socialist revolutionary" Obama. Let's come up with a TOP 5 articles and a TOP 5 videos list and use FReeper power to Digg them to the top so that non-FReepers too become aware of the most dangerous presidential candidate in our nation's history!
Please place all Digg suggestions in the threads. DO NOT PROVIDE LINKS TO NON DIGG ARTICLES AND VIDEOS. IF YOU WANT YOUR ARICLE OR VIDEO TO BE CONSIDERED, PUT IT ON DIGG FIRST AND THEN PROVIDE THE LINK.
Once the top five of each has been identified, let's all sign up over at Digg and DIGG THESE LINKS TO THE TOP!!! Then FReepmail, email, and round up people from every conservative forum you can think of and encourage them to do the same!
Please place your Digg suggestions below. Once we have settled on the initial five articles and five videos, a new post with the links will appear at the top of "Breaking News" and will be kept there!!! Remember, taken together, these links need to tell a story.
So let's get off our rear-ends, bypass the MSM, and get the vote out people!!!
“I wont click on wickapedia since its personal crap posted there.”...
Aye, there is some of that...
OTOH, wikipedia articles are the most scrutinized content on the planet...(translated: one must have some level of common sense when reading wikipedia articles...)
If someone posts “crap” you can bet it won’t be long before they care called on it and the content is debated. Each wiki article has it’s own discussion board...some of the battles can get very heated...The result is the “crap” is quickly corrected through arbitration.
It was never really intended as authoritative or definitive...but it can be a reliable source of information.
A dictionary or encyclopedia has to issue an new edition to make corrections and one *never* gets to read the arguments that lead to the content in the article....but we can see all that on wikipedia...
The article of Joseph McCarthy I found to be fair...even with the bickering going on behind the scenes on it’s discussion page.......:) LOL
Bump for later.
When I started on the INET all there was for me Gopher, the IBM version of Mosaic, and later NetScape, 1993’sh.
OS/2 was so much better than windows back then.
See the following thread:

Unfortunately it got pulled from Breaking News, but we’re working on getting it put back up. Keeping our fingures crossed...GGGG
I believe God has raised up Palin and snookered the globalists in the doing so.
IF she gets in . . . it will be because enough Christians have been praying and fasting . . .
I believe God will work to install her as we pray to protect her and her family.
I don’t know how it will happen. I just believe it will happen.
I don’t know what kind of or degree of breather we will thereby have on the way to hell . . . but it will be a lot better than Obumma’s bullet train to hell.
Regardless, horrific times are ahead.
Having Obumma in charge would make them much more horrific much sooner.
I gathered the links and posted them in Breaking News. But for some reason the power that be changed their minds and pulled it from Breaking. Perhaps we could build this thing up by getting enough people to post Digg links with the keyword “Digg” in it, thus causing it to appear in the “Popular Key Words” section (assuming enough FReepers do it). What do you think???
Here’s the link that got pulled from Breaking:

Thanks for the info!
Ok - that makes sense.
Don’t know if I’ll do it, but it’s nice to know it’s there if I want it.
Digg the articles then. It’s very much a voting/bumping thing. Lend support to the articles so that people will see the truth.
Sounds reasonable to me.
I’d comment further but . . . I’ll pretend I’m wise enough not to.
I’m on board.
I’m signing up there now.
Believe it or not, the unwashed masses in the proletariat don’t spend their day reading FR or listening to Rush like us.
We have to go to them.
This is a great idea. Let me think of a cool name...I’ll just go with Eric Blair.
See you all there.
BTW, damn you, I’ve tried every 2nd grade html amateur self taught command to figure out how to change the color of my profile page and I couldn’t figure it out. How do you do it.?
I wish SheLion were still alive to tell me. She pulled it off.
Calling all FReepers, calling all FReepers...let’s get out the vote using our combined FReeperPower!

PS It was pulled from Breaking. I’m thinking of starting a high-traffic Digg ping list that will last from now until the election. Each post will have the key word “Digg” in it. If we generate enough articles with the Digg key word, it should appear in the Popular Key Words” section, shouldn’t it???
Does this mean that when there’s an article posted on FR, there will be a button that says “DIGG This”? Will there be a way to see which articles are in the top 5 DIGG list when we come to FR? If we click on a DIGG button does it remove the bottom digg/thingie/article that we were suggesting to others?
Have posted a couple of forceful replies to an Obama supporter here:
Please feel free to chime in.

That idea was scratched by the Mods. We need to create a place where FReepers can Digg, Buzz, etc, FR articles that have been posted on forums where the article can be voted into prominance. I think whenever possible, we should try to post articles on Digg, etc that loop back to FR when interested parties click on it. Take a look what I did here and you’ll see what I mean:

PS Are you interested in becoming part of a high-traffic FR/Digg ping list that will last from now until the election???
I believe Palin is there to remind us of what we have allowed to go to waste, our country, our national sovereignty, our standards of pride, morality, honor and the once high standards of our own self respect.
These days we continually lie to ourselves saying that nothing is wrong when we all know better. Christ is forbidden in our workplaces, our government buildings, our businesses and our children’s schools.
That single symptom right there should give everyone a swift kick in the butt that as a country we are failing. Yet we continue to deny it. We refuse to stand up and tell the activist judges that they should move to communist countries because America was founded on Christianity not the denial of Christ.
Oh well, I know that I’m weird for mentioning things like this when nobody seems to care about it.
