A prominent supporter of Hillary Clinton is in New Hampshire today to rally the troops for Republican John McCain, as Clinton herself is in the Granite State to support Democrat Barack Obama.
Lynn Forester de Rothschild -- a personal friend of Clinton, a major fundraiser, and a member of the Democratic National Convention's platform committee -- plans press conferences in Dover and Manchester, the McCain campaign announced.
The events are counterprogramming against Clinton, who is now enthusiastically backing Obama and who also plans events in Dover and Manchester. New Hampshire is among the most competitive states on Nov. 4.
De Rothschild, who was born in New Jersey, married into a British banking family, and became a baroness, was one of the highest-profile backers of Clinton to declare they could not support Obama when he defeated Clinton for the Democratic nomination and throw their support to McCain instead.
"We have got to make the right choice about who goes to the White House,” she said at a September press conference announcing her backing of McCain. “So this decision to vote Republican for the first time in my life has been after a lot of thought. I have looked at all four candidates very carefully and I have no question about what I am doing today.”

She was great on TV last night. I hope she gets some voters for McCain.
They may not see eye to eye on all issues but they agree that an Obama presidency would be a disaster.

A dead cat has more “enthusiasm” than HRC does for Barry. The Clintons are scum, but they are not communists. They know Barry is poison, and that is why they have been laying low since the DNC stole that nominination away from Hill.
The Clinton DO NOT support Obama for POTUS, why should any Dem?
