I’d assume Luzerne and Lackawanna would look good.
The rest of South West would look good.
South Central (York, as well as Lancaster, Cumberland, Dauphin) might be a problem. Obama did pretty well there in the primary, and Ron Paul did pretty well there.
I would imagine that Luzerne and Lackawanna will look better for McCain than it did for Bush in 2004. Again, older, white Democrats up there.
I doubt it. I've never seen as many signs for anything ever as for McCain/Palin. And it's Sarah driving that. Intense passion for Sarah in these counties. She's practically living here. My wife is at Sarah's rally in Shippensburg (Cumberland County) this afternoon.
Lancaster County is largely conservative Republican. Obama will get some votes in Lancaster city.
