The McCain campaign is definitely demoralized right now. The blame game has begun.
There is no question that there is a rift between Sarah Palin's camp and that of John McCain inside the Republican campaign, sources tell ABC News.
Watch George Stephanopoulos on "Nightline" tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC
And you are seeing people within the McCain campaign starting to look to the future.
Not only Palin, but many of the McCain staffers, as well, are circulating their resumes and pointing the finger.
Whenever people in the campaign are starting to worry more about their own reputations rather than whether they're going to win in seven days, there is a significant problem.

Funny how all the networks and newspapers are running with a make believe story from undisclosed sources, but have given scant attention to Obama's redistribution speech caught on tape.

Since it’s coming from Steffie, does anyone know of a single credible reason to suspect there is any truth to this rumor?
Since the campaign is drawing to a close I would suspect that those Obama workers who aren’t in line for potential cabinet posts or ambassadorships are putting out resumes also.

heh. looks like ABC is workin’ overtime...since they aren’t carrying Hussein’s Obamathon commercial tomorrow, they’re trying to make up for it by posting “the election is over” stories.
To: pissant
I would actually believe this. The McCain camp screwed the pooch after the convention, offered nothing of a plan for dealing the economy and they mishandled Palin. The woman is very popular with the base and she was kept on a leash for too long. Meanwhile McCain rambles on from point to point trying to throw something that will stick instead of giving people someone to rally around. When your VP selection is more widely favored by the base of your party then you are screwed.
Barry was very beatable too....

This sounds like propaganda.
Even if the polls are correct, with their Democratic oversampling and all, the deficit is only 3-7%, not 20% as they would have you believe.
The amount of BS going around this year is astounding. Hopefully, this will be the year the media died.
