What are those rope like thingies in Parker’s neck? A built in collar of some sort?

How old is the picture on her column? 10 or 20 years ago?

It's a generational thing with these girls.
They thought for sure a national female politician would rise from their enlightened generation ranks.

I hope these RINOs are never allowed back in the fold.

They have done more damage to the cause than imaginable.

I was just thinking that the Sycamore tree was the reason National Review hired Kathleen Parker!

The Larch!

I think this column is complete bs, but let's pretend for a moment that it's true. If true, Palin was able to charm the socks off a crumudgeonly tough old guy who is not known for buckling under the most extreme pressure (like torture in the Hanoi Hilton).

That's pretty impressive! Imagine what she could do to guys like Putin! Seriously, go back and take a look at the photos of her with those world leaders she met during her NYC visit to the UN. They all look smitten with her. We should never underestimate the power of charm. Reagan knew how to use it too.

Its obvious that the pro-McCain liberal GOPers are trying to blame Palin for McCain’s loss....

Not the fact that McCain is pro-illegal, pro-bailout, pro-liberal.

Palin made this election a lot closer.

Also, the liberal GOPers are afraid of Palin becoming the GOP standard bearer in 2012

Kathleen, your jealousy is showing...and it’s making you look even more bitter and wretched than one of the harpies that attend Cindy Sheehan events.

Honestly, can this woman just STFU?

Right, she figured out all these illegitimate reasons that people like Palin, but she found no such circumstances regarding Barack Obama.

Also, I thought Palin was a disaster, but now I am reading people are drawn to her. Hmm

Does the jackass who wrote this realize how absurd she is, when Palin has legitimate accomplishments and her opponent Biden has enshrined himself as a proven incompetent?

Final note: It was known Biden was a dope long before Obama picked him.

Exactly - I love the way you put it into words. The strong women who journeyed miles and months to a foreign wild place to bring life to this land.

She is the emancipated woman before that catch word became popular - emancipated in that she loves being a woman, living to the fullest in her role and it shows in her face, her eyes, her speech, and her walk.

A beautiful creature and what a great role model for our young girls. Everything she takes on she does with panache. I wonder if there is a Sarah Palin doll coming out for Christmas gifting?

At this point, the only people who are reading Kathleen Parker have either already or will be voting for Obama. I can’t believe that anyone who is undecided or conservative/Republican is paying her any attention.

This election has exposed the deep racism among liberals in the rat party and the RINO liberals in the republican party.

Sarah will lead the conservative movement just fine without the RINOs.

I believe this is the third polemic by Kathleen Parker again Sarah Palin which I have encountered in the last couple of weeks. One might understand and even forgive a columnist for staking out a position with respect to a candidate in the presidential campaign in order to go on the record and tell the world that you disapprove of the choice of the vice presidential candidate. But Parker has gone way beyond that. She has done it repeatedly. Worse, she is catty. She is so convulsed in her dislike of Sarah Palin that he is, for a professional writer, utterly artless in these attacks.

At the risk of committing the same sins which ought to embarrass Kathleen Parker, I can only conclude that this is a female thing that so antagonizes a woman who purports to be a conservative. Perhaps not fair to say that she's become unhinged but the following paragraph proves that she's utterly departed logic:

Recognizing oneself in a member of the opposite sex (or the same sex, as the case may be) is a powerful invitation to bonding. Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in the river, imagining it to be his deceased and beloved sister’s. In McCain’s case, it doesn’t hurt that his reflection is spiked with feminine approval.

Ms. Parker, just how many people do you think you can actually convince that McCain picked Palin out of sexual narcissism? No one believes that John McCain is so confused that he sees himself to have any physical resemblance to Sarah Palin. Your entire construct is so absurd as make yourself the fool.

There is however another explanation to explain Kathleen Parker's behavior. She is making a name for herself and she sees a season when maverick conservatives may even become a special pet of the rest of the media in the age of Obama. It's as good a career choice as any for a female columnist on the make.

Ms. Parker either you are a fool or you are a damn cynic and a worse, someone who had turned against her own for personal advantage.

My husband called it first. Then, a brilliant, 75-year-old scholar and raconteur confessed to me over wine: “I’m sexually attracted to her. I don’t care that she knows nothing.”

********

BWAAAAAAHAAA, how did I know for Kathleen it would be over wine with a brilliant scholar. Parker is eaten up and it’s killing her that everyone else isn’t falling in line behind her. Now, not only is Palin unqualified, she’s using her feminine wiles to hoodwink McCain and most likely the rest of the male populace. So not only is Sarah a dope, but so is McCain and everyone else who thinks she will make a good VP.

Kathleen get a grip, your smug nature combined with all that envy and hatred is not an attractive sight.

Wow. What happened to Kathleen Parker? I remember a time when she wasn’t a Maureen Dowd clone. The next thing you know she’ll be quoting “Sex and the City” like it’s Aristotle.
