It's been at least a half-day already with Drudge, bloggers, and talk radio highlighting the 2001 Chicago NPR interview with then-State legislator Barack Obama clearly laying out his socialism ideology, and still the major media outlets have no stories about it -- at least none that are in a high profile position on their Web sites. Not on CNN, not on the Washington Post or New York Times, not on ABC, CBS, or NBC. This will likely be the story up until election day. But the MSM still haven't learned: that this 6-plus hours this morning amounts to an eternity in the Web news cycle; how to identify a big news story that harms their favored candidate; or why their industry is in the toilet. Update 1:30 p.m.: True to form, CNN is emphasizing last week's Palin wardrobe controversy and the alleged whispers from McCain advisers that she is viewed as a rogue "diva."

After its performance in this election, the MSM should tank. It’s the appropriate direction for it to go.
On the web, Fox has the anchor with the Marx question story, CNN had the video (which amazed me), and Google News, even in Canada is covering the 2001 story. They can’t hold off from the airwaves much longer.

Our MSM is ready to turn over the keys to Obama without dissent. Is this an indication of the "news" coverage we're to expect during an Obama administration?
-PJ
John McCain and his supporters can’t get an even break from the media. It’s really discouraging. Just what does Barack Obama gotta say or do to get some honest (i.e., critical) coverage?
It would appear that if they (the MSM) get BHO elected, and give the Dems a filabuster proof majority, then one would think that they could crow about their importance and influence compared to the New Media (talk radio, blogs, etc).
WaddaYaThink?
After the election, Americans are going to want answers about where their 401Ks went.
The Main Stream Government media is already lying about it, and omitting most facts pointing to their buddies in government as the culprits.
I see torches and pitchforks in the future...
The MSM is fighting for their own survival and if it means throwing BHO under the bus, they'll do it for the ratings. He is a liability.
The press knows darn well they can tear someone down even faster than they can build them up.
It's never going to happen until the the hippie moonbat generation takes a dirt nap...according to this ex KGB agent... He said he was amazed at how much the media, hollywood and the Universities have been infiltrated with soviet propaganda.
If his behaviour with the Anchor asking Marx questions is any indication of how he’d be if elected, I’d be pretty concerned if I was news media.
The MSM is fighting for their own survival and if it means throwing BHO under the bus, they’ll do it for the ratings.
If that ends up being the case then we need to treat this situation like they never did throw him under the bus. It’s time for these pukes to be rendered extinct.
I know people who only used email up to this time who are now getting all of their news from the internet and Fox. I think the msm are all but over if their chosen one loses.
