We thank You that You are Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Thank You for choosing to live in us through Jesus —Christ and making us one in You.
Today, I pray that You would place around the candidates and our current office holders men and women of godly character, sound wisdom and discernment who will counsel them wisely. I pray that these advisors would have great favor, like Daniel, with them. In the mighty Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

We are grateful for its authority and for the ability you gave us as speaking children of Yours to use it as swords against the enemy. We shout our victory by faith in You and Your Word! I have been thinking about President Bush all day today, for some reason.
I cannot stand the thought of losing him, even tho I know he must be aching to go home.

BTW, does anyone have the recent pic of the President in Israel....he was sitting down in a pretty garden area, in his suit, legs crossed, with a great smile on his face. I found it one night on the thread with all the pics of his trips.

I know , how you feel about President Bush, I do too, but he really needs a vacation from all the responsiblity he has had to shoulder for these 8 years. It has not been an easy time for him, but he has handled it with grace and we are all the better for it.
I just hope McCain is elected.

Heavenly Father, I praise You, the God who holds the whole world together with Your Word. Father, please work in our country to reveal truth and open the eyes of people who are going to vote for president of the United States...may they see the one who will be good for this country. Therefore, I pray for John McCain and Sarah Palin :) Father, please give them favor with You and with the people. Please lift them up as they go forward to lead and please stop the accusations spewing from the evil one. Let the Spirit cover this land with conviction of sin and may You give grace for repentance in Jesus name.
