Some people, including some writers for The Black Commentator, are adamant that Senator Obama should not be supported and that he is a fraud.

This thing is quite large, but it goes hand in hand with the tape we have today. Don't get me wrong, Obama is talked about in this, but he doesn't say anythig. Even so it is in keeping with what he is doing and shows the road to get there.

--SNIP-- As I emphasized in an earlier commentary, it is up to the grassroots to keep the candidates honest. Silence, in the name of unity, is a recipe for betrayal. What we have to keep in mind is something very simple: the other side, i.e., the political Right, always keeps the pressure on. If we do not pressure, in fact, if we do not demand, the reality is that the Right will come out on top.

To do the right thing, we must assess and appreciate Senator Obama for who he is and what he is -- politically -- rather than engage in wishful thinking. To do anything else is to be disingenuous to our friends and our base. Senator Obama, if elected President, will be unlikely to reveal himself to have been a closeted progressive. Yet, with pressure from the base, he may be compelled to do some of what is needed, despite himself and despite pressures to the contrary.--SNIP--

I found these paragraphs particularly interesting. First, the correct realization that the political Right will come out on top, unless the socialists "demand" (i.e. vandalism and riots) change from politicians. You see, what these socialists admit and know is that Americans don't want to be socialists, but the DSA doesn't believe it matters what Americans want. They know what's best for you and Senator Government is going to "spread the wealth around, because that's what's best for everybody."

The second paragraph I found quite chilling--that Obama is a closet 'progressive' (aka: socialist), which we all know, but those folks in the middle America who don't like socialism are still in the dark about Obama, so if elected, Obama can't come out of the socialism closet, not right away. But if pressured by his base, he will be compelled to do some of what is needed despite pressures to the contrary, meaning despite the will of the people.

See, keep the whole socialism on the DL until after the election. Moderates don't like socialism but they don't know what's "needed" so we will elect this shill who will do what he's pressured to do and we'll give them what's best for them, even if they don't want us to. And with a super majority in Congress, it'll be a slam dunk!

Definition: Fascism - governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Scary enough for you? Should be...
