The AP makes it sound as if their reporting caused the Campaign to kneel down and give it back.

WHY do they do this? Sarah already has deflated this (non) issue then the campaign cowers to the media.

Always remember:
“You’re getting $600 - what can you do with that?” Mrs. Obama said in Pontiac, Michigan last week. “Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn’t pay down every bill every month. The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good that first month when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings.”

Michelle and her stimulus check.

It was a non-issue, why? Whatever.

Unfortunately, it is an issue, since the media has covered this everywhere. People at my job were talking about this all day Friday. If you talk about Rev. Wright, their eyes glaze over. If you talk about Sarah’s wardrobe, their ears perk up. It’s really puzzling.

Doesn’t even matter, Sarah could campaign in blue jeans a a T shirt.

She would still outshine every other candidate in this race.

Has Michelle returned hers yet? Those frumpy June Cleaver house dresses with the bouquet of dead flowers around the neck to sweeten up her sour Marxist demeanor? Huh MSM? Of course not.

Obama’s zillion dollar temple was of course fully justified.

Considering Obama is spending around 240,000.00 per hour, the McCain campaign will have spent about 40 minutes on clothes.

News of such expensive clothes offered a stark contrast to Palin's image as an average "hockey mom."

This sentence is an example of unobjective journalism. The article is telling its readers what they should be thinking about the reported facts. "Hypocrisy" they want us to think.

I had no idea this was an issue 'til I saw it brought up on " Washington Week" by some journalist.

And who thinks Sarah Palin is an average hocky mom? How many hockey moms are governors and on a presidential ticket? Who believes the image? Do they believe she is an average hockey mom? Do they believe we think Palin is an average hockey mom. Just another example of the media's manipulation of the people.

Phooey on them.
