I am hoping that praying that states like Michigan will go McCain. Matter of fact, I've decided to start praying for McCain to win California. Anyone want to join in?

I'm glad to see that Michigan may be in play.

Michigan has the same problem other states do, there is a large metropolitan that, no matter how the rest of the state goes, wins the state for the wrong candidate.

I know that the majority of the state will go McCain, but the big city/cities will go Obama. Which segment will have the most votes is the question that needs to be asked.

Improves to what? Is he going to lose by 5 instead of 15?

I ventured into that enema I mean enemy territory the other day, and got to see many Obama signs.. That Is interesting they did not endorse the Obamster. My guess is many in the Western Farmlands (Chelsea, Dexter etc) that may get the paper would cancel if they saw that, there is only so much a conservative can take......

Detroit was enough to put Clinton over the top twice. All they have to do is hold back the Wayne County precint numbers long enough to find out what the returns are from Macomb and Oakland counties. Then they’ll know how many votes they’ll need. You watch, my friend. The last county to report its numbers will be Wayne. It always is.

I'm in the southern part of the 7th district and there are about zilch Obummer signs.

McCain signs outnumber them by more than 50-1!

Now that’s a huge improvement over California. We’ve got no ID requirement out here.

The problem in Michigan will come with absentee ballots. Those are much looser, and that’s what Wayne County will use to make sure Obama wins. Mark my words, Wayne will be the last county to report its returns. They’ll wait until Macomb and Oakland county reports, and then they’ll know how many votes they need to put Obama over the top.

Wayne County (Detroit) has registered 96% of the population — that’s as clear a sign as you get that voter fraud is rampant. 96% registration is like Saddam Hussein winning 100% of the vote in his fake elections.

Michigan voter roll surges to 98%.

Almost the entire State of Michigan has registered to vote according to the Secretary of State. Most of the increase in registrations have come from Detroit and the college towns.

Anybody out there think these areas were vastly under-registered compared to the rest of the state? Or is it more likely they have more registered voters in those districts than persons of voting age?

Personally, I suspect Michigan is a write-off due to fraud. I hope and pray I am wrong, but I trust Rats to be Rats.

I wish Sarah and Todd would come here like they said they would.

It was a BIG mistake to leave Michigan. With Sarah and Todd here, they could have won it all.

I live in western Wayne County. The precincts out here report fairly early. It's those Detroit precincts that are troublesome. Some last presidential election had greater than or equal to 100% turnout. I would say that is statistically impossible.

When the Detroit Free Press decides to endorse McCain then I’ll be impressed. Till then I’m not convinced that Obama hasn’t already stolen the state.

Michigan is too crazy. They elected Granholm twice. I think that alone is proof that the Michigan electorate is comprised of sado-masochists.

I say this as a native of Michigan who fled west 11 years ago and landed in California.

Well, it is hard to hide it when you cancel all of the TV ads.

I actually heard a McCain/Palin/RNC ad played during the Badgers game on Milwaukee radio on Saturday! Do you have any idea how long it's been since that has happened?

By contrast, the Obama ads have been running 2-4 times per hour every hour on our two local talk stations. At first, I tuned them out--now I lunge for the dial and outright turn it off--I can't stand to hear the whiny liberals praise their Messiah anymore. I wonder how many others are sick of the saturation, and how many might actually hear them if indeed the McCain ads start again.

That's why McCain left Michigan. It's useless to campaign there until Detroit cleans up its election fraud. It's an embarrassment. It is so blatantly obvious that they are stealing the election. No one wants to take them on because to do so is to be called "racist". Detroit is a national disgrace. Just when you think the city can not get any worse, it starts digging. I went to college in Detroit in the 1990s and saw all the bombed out buildings along McNichols and six mile. I recently returned and saw the same bombed out buildings still there. In any other sane city, those buildings would have been removed. But in Detroit they just stay there as a blight for decades. It's disgusting. The city should be leveled once and for all.

Well then, I’m glad I left my birthplace of Center Line, Michigan back in 1973. I feel sorry for my old friends and neighbors back there.

106% of registered voters voted in Detroit in 2004. Yes,106%

McCain would need to be several points ahead in Michigan to have a chance of winning the state.

Exactly. That's why McCain pulled out. It wasn't because he didn't think his message would resonate. It would have been a great message ("Obama will do to the country what Granholm did to Michigan and what Kilpatrick did to Detroit").

It might be good that the McCain ads will now be airing. People will suddenly notice them because they’ve been over-saturated by the Obama ads. Something new will break through.

Obama is taking a lot of shady money, much of it from overseas. What does he care? He will deal with any FEC fines after the election. LOL

I am even seeing ads for Obama on Drudge and Breitbat TV, two right wing sites.
