NRA Endorses Baron Hill (D) for IN-9 WHAT IS GOING ON?

I was shocked to find that the NRA has endorsed Baron Hill for IN-9. This is insane, with a good Republican (Sodrel) who could have been endorsed in a very close election. Granted, Hill has only a 36% rating from the Brady Campaign, but our solid Republican representatives all are down in the single digits (with Pence leading the way with a 0% rating -- way to go Mike!).

GOA gave Hill a D- in their 2007 rating, but apparently the NRA thought he was good for an A in 2008.

I've always been in the "NRA is one of the good guys" camp, but this really chaps my hide. The Sodrel-Hill race will be darn close, and it would be great to get Mike back in DC.

A “cross endorsement”? That’s probably the silliest thing I’ve ever read.

Oh really. Silly huh. LMAO. You must be ignorant of the fact that many organizations endorse both candidates (meaning both are fine by them, vote for either).

You ‘Pubies really have to get over the fact that the NRA doesn’t exist to support your party.

You whatever you are need to realize your NRA is enabling the forces of the hard left by helping put democrats in office. With a large enough majority Pelosi will take away your guns.‘Nuff said.

Out here in CA, I’ve seen Republicans try to stab gun owners in the back again and again. Take a poll of legislators in Cali and tell me which caucus is way more pro-gun than the other. Hint: Not the democrats.

And it’s been pro-gun Democrats who’ve been there in Sacramento to save us from them.>

Good for them. There should be pro-gun Republicans in those seats so the moonbats aren't in charge of the legislature.

Happy trails.

There's a faction in Bloomington that's decidedly Leftwingtard, but you can still find plenty of Conservatives who do not have a University connection.

BTW, I graduated more Conservative than when I started.
