I was a poll challenger for the last election and worked the entire day in a very ethnically diverse neighborhood. When I showed up, TWO LAWYERS for the Democrat party showed up (I work in Communications - not a lawyer)! I said hey guys, you’re entitled to only one representative in the polling place and I KNOW you’d have a problem with two or more Republicans here. So they agreed that one of them would go out on the sidewalk (and it was darn cold here in Minnesota) and “help” voters. I called the MN Republican headquarters and maybe they were too busy in other areas, but no one ever came out.
I was impressed with the election judges. They did a great job in facilitating voting even with those who were outraged that they were at the wrong polling place.
The Democrats did a great job of busing people to the polls. In particular, I saw how effectively they actively got people off the streets and from their homes, bringing them to the polls (sometimes in their slippers). Also got the impression they had actively worked the nursing home angle too.

I suspect they do that most everywhere. It’s a well defined group of voters located in one place so that they can pick them up and take them to the polls. Where I live the democrats work the nursing homes/retirement centers and take the people to an early voting center. If they can find one in a commercial location like a shopping mall then they offer a twofer..... vote and shop on the same trip.
I had the same experience in Florida. TWO Dem attorneys showed up as poll watchers and basically set out to intimidate the voters by setting up their table at the door so they looked official, as though people had to go see them first. I complained to the election officer and he made them move to the side where the other poll watchers were sitting.
We also had a very honest election officer, and he ran the polling place very well.
And, yes, the Dems brought busses and busses of folks from black churches, nursing homes and even from the local state home for the mentally disabled.
