I think the campaign aides are trying to reign her in instead of letting Sarah be Sarah..

Do these campaign aides think we are motivated to vote for the agendas being put forward by the aides?

No!

We are motivated by the candidates. The more that Gov. Palin connects directly with the people, the more votes are cast for the McCain-Palin ticket. Voters actually believe those in office will effectively represent us well. That is what gets us to the polls. Do these aides picture themselves as behind-the-scenes puppet-masters. Governor Palin has a proven record of making the hard call from within her own heart and mind.

The job of the aides is to keep information flowing to the decision-maker. They do best when they prevent the decision-maker from being blind-sided.

We Freepers love reports that Gov. Palin is going off of the script, especially if the script comes from those for which we are not voting.

Kudos to Sarah for being Sarah!!

Obama’s people are predicting he’ll get 400 electoral votes.

That, along with this story, is the proof that they know they’re going to lose.

I’m actually looking forward to election night now.

Has anybody besides me noticed how cheerful and relaxed McCain and Palin are, and how strained and miserable Obama and his whole stinking cult are?

Anderson Cooper tells McCain the only honorable thing for him to do is drop out.

Frum says McCain needs to announce that he’s doomed, and tell us to contribute to all the Republicans in Congress who brought us to the brink of economic collapse.

Then there’s the story of McCain ripping all his demoralized staffers a new collective orifice, because they’re convinced he’s doomed, and only the madman Captain McQueeg still thinks he has a chance.

All of this has convinced me that he and Palin are going to win big.

Whatever you do, vote anyway, even if the press tells you on election day that exit polls show Obama winning all 50 states.

I think we’ve been lied to all along, and Obama doesn’t have anywhere near the support we’ve been told.

The more that Gov. Palin connects directly with the people, the more votes are cast for the McCain-Palin ticket.

Tactically, the fact that Palin is not 100% with McCain is what changed the minds of many FReepers (read conservatives) who were ready to sit home or vote third party or write-in.

By the same token McCain, with his "reach across the aisle" delusions, has attracted many dems who just cannot abide Obama. As leprechaun9 said up-thread, one lever is a vote for both.
