I’m 56, and can remember often hearing of Gus Hall and the Communist Party in America. We don’t hear of them now. Why? They knew they were getting nowhere in the U.S. under the communist banner, and thus knew they had to infiltrate one of the two major parties. They have done so. And now, they are close to what Khruschev predicted 50 years ago: that communism would take over the U.S. from within.

I won't reveal my age, but I do remember the McCarthy hearings and Edward R. Murrow. After watching, "Good Night and Good Luck," I recommend that everyone see it to see how we've come from a nation being paranoid about communists to being totally accepting of them as our nations leaders.

Ed Murrow is probably spinning cartwheels in his grave.
