Then my Trolldar© is still working!
I’m guessing Hilary never had that enthusiasm. What a Dame!
Pray for W, Gov Palin and Our Troops
I live in Beaver County. I've heard all the jokes and small minded comments. Pffft.
Which is exactly why having a newbie choose that particular photo as a "Classic Sarah Palin Kodak Moment" is suspect in my book.
From your own experience, you know that it is a guaranteed invitation to ridicule.
Ummmmm....I love the smell of smoking troll in the morning
He’s posted more vanities in his short time here than I’ve posted in 10 years. I still say he bears watching.
Okay. Since you know him, I'll take your word for it.
Be that as it may, let's just say that having a group of enthusiastic teen-aged boys with "Beaver" on their jerseys going wild over Sarah Palin was an unfortunate choice of photos to describe a "Classic Sarah Palin Kodak Moment".
My first instinct when I saw it was to push the "Abuse" button.
“Hes posted more vanities in his short time here than Ive posted in 10 years.”
Thats an interesting take on recent “troll” discussions. I would be interested in hearing from those who have defended the new folks and said we are running off people, being intolerant and all that, what their take is on the vanity prolificness of the new ones.
It's not readily apparent that all the shirts say "beaver." In fact, it's not even apparent that all the spectators are from any particular group. My point is that such an interpretation is not obvious enough to be intended as the subject matter of the print. Personally, I see such an interpretation as silly and childish and not worthy of concern.
They do. They are all wearing the same team jerseys.
My point is that such an interpretation is not obvious enough to be intended as the subject matter of the print.
An "obvious" ridicule by a troll has a FR life measured in less than a minute before it is zotted. A subtle ridicule can last for hours.
Personally, I see such an interpretation as silly and childish and not worthy of concern.
Aren't trolls on FR, by definition, "silly and childish"? Isn't the left trying to ridicule Palin in any way they can?
Your level of suspicion of newbies is just a lot lower than mine is.
I understand your point.
But, I don’t think Chet99 meant any harm.
Heck, my daughter graduate from Oregon State.
Guess what that makes her. ;o)
Of all of the wild animals they would choose for a mascot,
why the heck did they choose the Beaver? lol
BTW, the troll was Election Monitor.
I said before and will say again... Why is it okay for a male politician to be “hot”, but not a female one?
LOL!
I have NO idea!
Too many folks swallowing the feminazi line, I guess.
OR...too many who believe it to be sexual harrassment.
Frankly, any woman who can field dress a moose, hunt wolves from a helo, birth five great kids, and has a husband who the PUMAs consider to be the First Feminist is hot, IMO. ;o)
To me it says that she’s reachable by the people... the way it should be. Unlike the Obama/Biden freak show.
Mike
After checking out both posting histories, it seems that Election Monitor was definitely a troll. When I first saw the thread, however, I had never heard of either newbie.
So, a newbie posts an entire thread as a "Classic Sarah Palin Kodak Moment" and I then see that the excited boys had "Beaver" on their shirts. My immediate reaction was to see only four letters:
I.B.T.Z.
As I posted above to him, let's just say that having a group of enthusiastic teen-aged boys with "Beaver" on their jerseys going wild over Sarah Palin was an unfortunate choice of photos for a newbie to post as a vanity thread.
