Barbara West Interviews Joe Biden (Must See Video; Biden Shocked, Asked if Obama Plan is Marxism)

Florida TV reporter Barbara West asked hard hitting questions of Joe Biden in an interview broadcast yesterday.

Biden was shocked when asked if Obama's spread the wealth plan was Marxist.

The four minute interview was not the typical softball CNN-MSNBC-ABC-CBS-NYT-LAT-WAPO-AP questions.

The Orlando Sentinel reports the Obama campaign was furious at West and called her "unprofessional" and "combative".

Biden also specifically denied Obama's plan was to "spread the wealth," a direct contradiction of what Obama famously told Joe the Plumber.

This is hilarious. Best part is when Biden gets a frightened look on his face and says “I don’t know who’s writing your questions.” He’s so accustomed to journalists adapting questions based on the DNC talking points memo that he is like a deer in the headlights. I thought he might start crying at the end. I don’t know who this Barbara West is, but she should be promoted to the National Network Anchor chair.

We heard John McCain admonishing us in the debate to carefully parse the words of Barak Obama. Clearly that admonishment must be applied to Joe Biden as well.

Biden was very careful in his denial, he said they never gave any money to Acorn for a voter registration. So when the Obama campaign gave $800,000 that we know of to Acorn we have to believe that the printed currency (okay, the check) which they gave them was unique, it was not fungible. You have to believe that Acorn when it deposited the money into its account could not withdraw an equal amount of money and apply it to voter registration.

Many lawyers when they try very important cases order very expensive "daily copy" productions of the transcript so that the witnesses can be cross-examined on their own words while still available to the court. I believe the technology is available so that these Democrats can be confronted with video excerpts and made to deal with them.

If I were a young journalist on the make I would certainly take out after the Democrat candidate and make a name. Even if I had no political predilections, the obvious choice is the Democrat because they are so far sacrosanct and you will make news. I simply do not understand why all journalists do not behave as did this one if only from a selfish career perspective. Are they so intimidated that they fear for their careers?

I believe that was the toughest interview in this election that anyone has given Obama or Biden, can you think of any others, O’Reilly’s Obama interview was mildly tough but of course as O’Reilly proudly repeats, he doesn’t do gotcha questions.

The way she said “No” when he asked “Are you joking?” was priceless.
