Say what you will of McCain. He’s no idiot. They know something’s going on in PA. Something that is eluding the Obama camp.

Between Murtha and Obama’s comments — and how Obama was soundly rejected in the primaries, I think McCain will win PA.

And I think McCain knows it. If he does (and keeps Florida, Virginia and Ohio), he’s in GREAT shape to put this election to bed early on election night.

I work in Philly, and let me tell you that all of the blue collar whites I know who usually vote Dem are uncomfortable with Obama and will not vote for him. If they don’t he can’t win here.

If McCain wins PA, it’s over. He should win Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina. With PA he could LOSE Bush states Nevada, Iowa, Colorado, and Virginia and still win the election.

Send Sarah and Joe the Plumber to PA!

I’m wondering how NY will go. They are dems and Hillary supporters, but will the disgruntled dem/loyal Hillary supporters cut into the dem vote enough to unseat obama?

Of the 4 States mentioned (PA, FL, VA, and OH), the one I worry about most is Ohio. I think the Dems will steal it with the help of ACORN.

What say ye?

You mean, like Obama's abysmal performance in PA during the primaries? The fact that PA was a very closely contested state in both 2000 and 2004, and now they are running a Republican who will be stronger in PA than Southerner Bush was against a Democrat who will be weaker than Gore or Kerry? Or that "bitter people who cling to religion and guns" comment in San Francisco?

Gee, I dunno what the McCain people could possibly be thinking. After all, there are all those PA polls with 15 point Dem samples showing Obama up by 13 points. Doesn't McCain believe these polls?

I think McCain is campaigning in states he thinks he must have, even if the odds are against him. What else would make sense?
