Don't tell me she isn't ready for prime time!
I agree with you, and so does the author of the article:

CNN, Palin and Me [Byron York]
Yesterday CNN’s Drew Griffin addressed his misquote of my article during that interview with Sarah Palin:
“Unfortunately, in my question, I botched it. I misquoted York by using the word “I” instead of reading his direct quote, which I had in front of me, which attributes the statement to the media.”
“I thought it was a very good article, Wolf. I was going to get it use it to get the governor to answer the question why her, you know, successful record in Alaska wasn’t getting out. She had no trouble answering that question and in no way did I intend to misquote the National Review ”
“I’ve since called Byron York and his editor, Rich Lowry, to explain what happened and told them both that I regret any harm this may have brought.”
Just for the record, I’ve said that I thought the bigger harm in all this was to Palin, who was hit on-camera with an out-of-nowhere quote. But as far as I’m concerned, Griffin’s explanation is fine with me, and I consider this closed.

If the statement was a lie, there was no point!
Turdburgler?
In their black hearts and diabolical minds, the know the only thing the “botched” was getting caught in their lie before they destroyed Palin’s candidacy. Here the MSM had been whining and weeping about not getting a chance to interview her, and damn near all of them (except FOX) have engaged in these “gotcha” schemes in an attempt to shake her up, rather than ask straight up questions and glean meaningful information. How these a$$holes can call themselves journalists is beyond me. They’re nothing more than press secretaries for Obama.
I’m glad Our Girl called him out on it. She’s no mealy-mouthed pushover.
Exactly right, and then some. It makes his apology a lie on top of a lie.
It's not an apology, it's an attempt to rewrite the history of what he did in the first place.
Sarah Palin looks good dressed for fishing. Her holding that 25-pounder, smiling, always does it for me...
LOL!
CNN - the Mapes/Rather of cable news...
Her answer proves she actually *reads* NR.
It matters little. Palin handled her self with honor and dignity and totally outclassed the hacks at CNN. And they know it, which is why they are scrambling to level themselves up to her gracious way of dealing with them and making idiots out of them before millions of people.
The public can see that she is honest and real. The more they attack her, the more juvenile they appear and the more interest the public has to see her for themselves. The more the public sees her, the more they like her and see first hand how cynical and Bias the media is.
The MSM ratings are solidly in the single digits by now.
Me either. If on purpose, take him off the air. If not on purpose, then he is completely incompetent; take him off the air.
CNN likes to Larry King conservatives. I’m surprised they acknowledged anything before the election. They rank right up there with MSNBC in credibility.
The gotcha media shot themselves right in the groin.
Mistake?
Yeah right.
Is this guy a Brit? What monumental understatement.
About as believeable as my ignoring my ex-wife totally for the last twelve years is a mistake.
The problem is that this tool of the left, to say "Ooooops, my bad!", knowing full well that the "mistake" will be quoted endlessly, but the apology will be ignored.
And everyone, including us, will let it drop. Old news.
