Biden lashes out at corporate greed at Colo. stop
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Wednesday it's unfair that executives of failed corporations are paid millions of dollars while their employees lose their pensions.
Biden vowed that he and Barack Obama would attack corporate greed if they're elected.
Biden took direct aim at executives who draw big salaries while leading failed companies. "Their pensions go first," he told a roaring crowd.

"Their pensions go first,"
I'm all for it if he's talking about elected officials pensions.

This is a DOA suggestion IMO. Those who have 401(k)s should be very angry at any
suggestion to nationalize the plans.
The Final 300...
We were a little over $3,000.00 from this quarter's
FReepathon goal this morning. It would only take
300 of us to donate $10.00 to put us over the top.
Would some of you like to be a part of the Final 300?
Let's end this FReepathon today.

Uh... I don’t think CEOs and upper management get pension plans... they get large salaries commensurate with their abilities plus the golden parachute... As usually Biden is playing the wealth envy card...

The only increase I see anywhere is the size and cost of government.

Has McCain been screaming that the people responsible for the bailout need to be investigated and prosecuted? If he has I haven’t heard it. Why is it left to the friends of the crooks to make hay out of this?

Well Assface, when you own enough stock in a company to make those kinds of decisions then that’s fine. Otherwise, it’s none of your damn business.
Even if these communists lose, I am still very disturbed that there are so many people in this country who are so ready and willing to submit to marxism like this.

While the CEOs actions are deplorable, what's even
more deplorable is the government stepping to use this as an excuse to confiscate their pensions!
Is this not the same thing Hugo Chavez did in Venezuela when he began nationalizing everything?

And if you just listened to Limbaugh you’ve learned that Democrats would love to grab your 401K, administer it through the Social Security Administration, disallow any deductibility, and your retirement savings would become the government’s money. Scary! This word needs to get out!
To: thinking
I made that statement almost 60 days ago.

Bet not a one of these people knows what congress’ pension plan looks like. Talk about greed. How many companies do you know where you get your full salary and full benefits for life after only serving one day on the job?

CEOs get split-dollar company-owned life insurance policies which vest to them over the years or upon severance except if fired for gross incompetence.

All this is sounding more like Germany in the 30s...Yes, it certainly is. Except that the economic "crisis" is totally manufactured by the left.
We are faced with a choice - do we want to be sheep in a communist country, or do we want to be the brave citizens of the next Warsaw? I vote for Warsaw.
It is time to learn who all are pushing the communist agenda. Gather names, list them in many places. This massive theft cannot stand.
