PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh police say they gave a polygraph test to a McCain campaign volunteer who reported that a tall black man had robbed and later cut her face her after seeing a McCain bumper sticker on her car.
Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators are "looking at some inconsistencies" in the 20-year-old woman's story.

I think people should not leap to conclusions condemning this woman as a fraud based on media reports from TMZ in a highly polarized election.
The entire dem establishment in Pittsburgh is probably under great pressure from the DNC and Obama campaign to spin this woman’s situation.
We are hearing way too much from “sources” leaking to “TMZ”.
The girl willingly submitted to a polygraph, it appears. Scratching a B the wrong way in a mirror is way too obvious a hoax for someone who was planning to pull a stunt. The released photo may have been reversed to undermine her credibility for all we know.
I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt until an official source whom we can trust says otherwise.
Why are these details being leaked piecemeal?
I do see that the initial McCain campaign message of solidarity and compassion for the victim has been tempered, and they now refer to her as a “woman”, not a “victim”. That may suggest they are waiting to get the details as well and limit potential damage if her claims prove bogus.
But there is no way I’m goint to give TMZ more benefit of the doubt than this lady, for the time being.
Last night on Channel 2, (KDKA), They talked to a local College Republican who seemed very credible about meeting and knowing her for the week she’s been here prior to this incident.
He gave the strong impression that this was NO prior injury and she was fine an hour or so before this happened when he last saw her.
She keeps changing the whole story. As in every single part of it. Now says it happened not next to the ATM but on “nearby Pearl Street”, doesn’t recall giving him any money, doesn’t recall whether it was a knife used to cut the B because she had “lost consciousness” suring the attack and actually didn’t even notice the B until she got home, doesn’t know if he reacted to the bumper sticker on her car or the button she was wearing (maybe she had to change this one after changing the location, since the car was supposedly parked at the location where she first claimed the attack happened), added a detail about his hand under her shirt fondling her (a bit hard to reconcile with the latest timeline of when she says she “lost consciousness”). And now there’s the pesky detail that the bank’s ATM camera shows no sign of her having ever been at the ATM at all!
After the fallout over the Johnnie Gammage incident and the hated ten year consent decree the DoJ had them under I find that hard to believe.

I read all that too, but I am not buying into media spin or PPD spin either. Both are quite capable of spinning this story any way they wish. We have seen it all before. From both sources. I am not there, can’t talk to the girl, and I am not going to listen to b bunch of libs from any outlet until the all the facts are out. I don’t consider Media spin, or something the Pittsburgh police says, fact. Including what the victim may or may not have said. For all we know, they misunderstood the original statement, and now in re evaluation, report it as a change. We just don’t know. I have seen officers state falsehoods many times before.
You don’t apply makeup in the form of letters. You apply makeup baced on the form of the surface you apply it to. There is no backwards or forwards when it comes to makeup.
We’ll probably never know for sure.

How true. When a leftist does a self inflicted hoax the story is always cold and reported on the back pages of the papers. The hoax is only covered in places like this one.
I’m now in the wait and see group before we run with this story. Could be a hoax. I don’t trust the media one bit to get the story right. I they are playing with the facts to discredit her I’m sure they’ll eventually get the story straight. On November 5.
