How will that affect Obama's thinking? He'll want to equalize. Not by teaching blacks how to save, but by equalizing outcome.
Here's how I think it will work in the long run. Obama will "spread the wealth" - in this case Social Security payments - around.
If you receive $800 a month from your 401K, that amount will be subtracted from your Social Security check. On the surface it looks fair - in fact - it punishes savers and gives to those who "spend every dime". If you spent your prime earning years buying lotto tickets and living large, you win. If you saved, you lose.
