They are only talking about raising INCOME taxes, not creating a new “wealth tax” that would confiscate accumulated wealth. Of course, this 401K discussion does address some of that, especially for the low level folks planning to maintain their independence. They also will get some from the death tax.
I’m talking more about the Buffets and Gates folks, if we are truly to discuss speading the wealth, then we should hammer the wealthy by confiscating everything over $X million dollars.
So, in reality Obama is talking about punishing achievement in income and not about actually “taxing the rich.”

AMEN! I'm with Sarah Palin running against the Republican [RINO] Party AND when the election is over (no matter the winner) that we need to rebuild the "Conservative Movement". Mark Levin stated the same commitment the other night. Palin is the true Conservative. McCain is not. She needs to be at the TOP of the Republican Party.
I also agree with Rush about the RINOS endorsing Obama. IF McCain wins, then they will come running back. Be they ex-office-holders or elite-RINO-columnists. We know McCain will welcome them back. I say, as Rush, GOOD RIDDENCE and go be Democrats and stay Democrats and stay gone! They should be kept out of the "Conservative Republican Party"
