So he campaigned yesterday in Indiana before he left, and he’s back home on Friday. So he basically did NOT take two days off the campaign trail. He’ll probably be at a rally tonight somewhere.

I hate to be cynical, but is she is “gravely ill”, why did he wait 3 days after announcing he was leaving for Hawaii? And why is she in an apartment and not a hospital bed?

It makes no sense to me. When my paternal grandmother died of cancer, it was a fairly fast thing, and she barely was able to hang on until my Dad could visit her one last time. This was a matter of a day, not a week.

I read on another thread that the wife and children didn’t visit with the grandma last visit (vacation) either. Unless she’s got alzheimers or dementia to the extent that it might be frightening to the girls, I’m not buying.

michelle is out on the campaign trail filling in for the zero. What family love - NOT! The zero didn’t even take his daughters to see their great-grandmother for what might have been the last time. This whole trip is a scam!

Obama, wife Michelle and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, spent a week in late August on Oahu, just before the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

The August trip was filled with golf and beach visits but also included daily trips by Obama to see his grandmother. For this trip, Obama's family did not accompany him.

Read how the MSM twists this story. The fact is when they were there on vacation Michelle and the children DID NOT visit 0bama's mother, only 0bama did. So if they won't see her on vacation why are people surprised they won't go now. This story reports it but it's somewhat veiled.
