The wife & I decided long ago to not take chances. No yard signs, no bumper stickers, nothing. Not having yard signs is typical for us but we always have had bumper stickers in the past. Not this year. Especially with Obama’s call to “get in their faces”, who needs the hassle.
It will be interesting Tuesday morning, the 4th, when we get up to go to vote. Not because we expect busloads of illegal voters at our polls (not here where I live), but just the turnout itself. We know the people who work the election and should have an idea of what’s happening in our little neck of the swamp...

We have a yard sign.Everybody asks where we got it as they walk by.I was polled door to door.Told them I voted for Obama in the primary because I was sure he was the weakest candidate.Told her I switched parties to do it but in the general I was voting for McCain because he is pro-life.Told her that her candidate was leading in the polls so I was wrong about him being the weakest. She did not smile.

Yeah, there are too many “0bama’s volunteer brownshirts” out there that will commit actual politically motivated hate crimes on the opposition.
People should think about what would happen if these people get the power of gov’t behind them.
